## Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Manager to join our regional legal team. Based in Vietnam, you will serve as the primary legal point of contact for the Vietnam business while also supporting regional legal initiatives and cross-border projects across Southeast Asia.

Working closely with our Singapore-based Senior Manager, Legal, you will provide pragmatic legal advice, navigate Vietnam's evolving fintech and financial regulatory landscape, and collaborate with regional stakeholders to support the company's business objectives.

**Working Location:** Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (100% on-site working)

**Key Responsibilities**

-   **Contract Management:** Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a broad range of commercial agreements, vendor contracts, partnership agreements, and other legal documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
-   **Legal Support:** Serve as a trusted legal partner to the business by providing practical legal and regulatory advice on commercial, operational, and strategic matters. Monitor and interpret applicable laws and regulations affecting the company's business in Vietnam, while supporting corporate governance, corporate secretarial matters, internal policies, and other legal compliance initiatives.
-   **Stakeholder Management:** Coordinate with external counsel, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders in Vietnam and across the region to support legal, regulatory, and business initiatives.

## Requirements

-   **Qualification:** Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or equivalent from a recognized institution; qualified to practise law in Vietnam.
-   **Experience:** 4 – 6 years of post-qualification experience, with a proven track record in the banking, fintech, or payments industry.
-   **Technical Knowledge:** Strong understanding of Vietnam's legal and regulatory framework relating to financial services, payments, technology, data privacy, AML/CFT, and corporate law.
-   **Language Proficiency:** Professional fluency in both Vietnamese and English (drafting and negotiation capability is essential).
-   **Soft Skills:** Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, sound commercial judgment, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work independently within a regional reporting structure.

**Preferred Qualifications**

-   Previous experience working in an international law firm or the legal department of a regional fintech or payments company.
-   Exposure to cross-border transactions or fintech-focused legal work.
