## Description

The Senior Security Officer at Access Bank PLC plays a crucial role in safeguarding the bank's information systems by implementing robust security measures and monitoring activities to prevent unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Monitor and analyze security incidents to detect and respond to threats promptly.
-   Implement and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards across the organization.
-   Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation actions.
-   Coordinate with IT and other departments to ensure security controls are integrated within systems and processes.
-   Support incident response efforts, including investigation and mitigation of security breaches.
-   Maintain and update security documentation and reports.
-   Provide training and awareness sessions to employees on security best practices.
-   Assist in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal audits.

## Requirements

**Qualifications and Experience:**

-   Bachelor’s degree in (Facilities, Security Management, Law, Risk, IT, Engineering, Criminology, Military Science) or related discipline.
-   Minimum of 5 years' experience in information security or related fields.
-   2 years in leadership/Supervisory
-   Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CompTIA Security+ a, CPP, CISM, CFE, ISO 22301 / BCM, PSP, APP/AML certifications are preferred.
-   Solid understanding of information security frameworks and standards.
-   Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
-   Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
-   Experience in incident response and vulnerability management.
