## Description

Acorn Product Development is seeking a Marketing Contractor to support our East & West Coast product development teams. This role will create and manage marketing content that communicates Acorn's work, capabilities, and technical expertise across digital channels, events, and other business development initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer and visual communicator who can translate complex engineering and product development work into clear, engaging content. This person will collaborate closely with engineering, industrial design, and business development teams and should be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.

**Contract Details**

This is a part-time six-month contract position with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.

## Requirements

**Qualifications**

· BS/BA degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field

· 2-5 years of relevant marketing, content, or communications experience

· Portfolio demonstrating strong writing, visual design, and marketing capabilities

· Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Photoshop and Illustrator

· Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills

·  Ability to manage multiple priorities, incorporate feedback, and work independently

·  Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented approach

**Preferred Qualifications**

· Experience marketing technical, engineering, manufacturing, or product development services

· Experience with website content management and basic web design

· Experience using Figma and familiarity with UX/UI workflows

· Experience supporting conferences, events, or business development initiatives

**Responsibilities**

· Create pitch decks, case studies, one-pagers, and other marketing assets based on past and current project work

· Plan, create, and manage content for Acorn's social media channels

· Manage website updates and support the development of new website content

· Partner with technical staff to develop thought leadership articles, technical content, and project stories

· Maintain the marketing calendar and coordinate content, campaign, and event deadlines

· Support business development and marketing activities for conferences and industry events

· Ensure marketing materials are accurate, visually consistent, and aligned with Acorn's brand

· Collaborate with engineering, industrial design, and business development teams to gather input and move deliverables forward

· Present work internally, incorporate feedback, and iterate quickly
