AcoustoFab is building a new kind of robotics: using sound to levitate and manipulate materials without touching them. Spun out of University College London, we combine acoustics, robotics and software to control liquids, powders and delicate components, opening up new possibilities in life sciences, laboratory automation and advanced manufacturing.
Our ambition goes beyond moving materials. We are developing systems that can handle a sample, measure its properties and adapt what happens next, bringing together physical manipulation, sensing and intelligent control. From handling fragile biological materials to positioning tiny components, we are turning pioneering research into practical tools for real customer challenges.
Based at the QMB Innovation Centre in Whitechapel, London, our team brings together scientists, engineers, software developers and commercial specialists.
