To support our mission, we are seeking foran experienced and motivated **Youth Center Manager** to lead the overall management and development of ActionAid Hellas’ Youth Center **in Thessaloniki**.

The **Youth Center Manager** will lead the overall management of ActionAid Hellas’ Youth Center in Thessaloniki, overseeing its programmes, team, operations and resources. The role ensures high-quality and impactful programmes for young people aged 18 - 30, while strengthening partnerships and community engagement.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Lead the overall management and development of the Youth Center and its programmes.
-   Develop and implement annual operational plans, objectives and budgets.
-   Oversee programme implementation, monitoring and reporting, ensuring quality, impact and accountability.
-   Lead, motivate and develop the Youth Center team, fostering an inclusive and collaborative working environment.
-   Manage the Center’s budget and resources, ensuring compliance with organisational and donor requirements.
-   Build and maintain strong partnerships with local authorities, educational institutions, civil society organisations and community stakeholders.
-   Represent ActionAid Hellas in local networks, events and partnership meetings.
-   Identify opportunities for new partnerships, programmes and initiatives that strengthen the Center’s impact and sustainability.
-   Contribute to the development of new programmes and project proposals in collaboration with Fundraising teams.
-   Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the Youth Center as a safe, welcoming and inclusive space.
-   Collaborate with internal teams to ensure integrated programme planning and delivery.
-   Promote organisational learning by sharing good practices, lessons learned and programme insights.
-   Act as an ActionAid Ambassador.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, Political Science, International Relations, Education, Community Development or another relevant field (Master’s degree is an asset).
-   At least **five (5) years of relevant experience** in programme or project management within the NGO, social impact or international development sector.
-   Proven experience in multidisciplinary team management, staff development, programme planning, budget management, monitoring and donor reporting across diverse funding mechanisms (EU programmes, Foundations and Corporate Partnerships/CSR).
-   Experience in safeguarding and risk management, youth participation methodologies and non-formal education will be considered an asset
-   Strong leadership, organisational, project management and problem-solving skills.
-   Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders and partners.
-   Strong communication, facilitation, presentation and public speaking skills.
-   Digital literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and online collaboration tools.
-   Excellent use (both oral & written) of the Greek and the English language.
-   Good understanding of human rights, youth empowerment, social inclusion and community development.
-   Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under deadlines.
-   Commitment to ActionAid’s values and safeguarding principles.
-   Availability to travel domestic and abroad.
