**Salary:** AUD 157,000–180,000

**Workplace:** hybrid

**Department:** Budgeted Role

## Description

### About us

Acusensus pioneers intelligent road safety enforcement solutions that can be rapidly deployed to address road safety challenges . We provide advanced AI and hardware technology deployed as fixed-location, trailer-based, and vehicle-based enforcement solutions, used by governments across Australia, the US, the UK, and New Zealand. Founded in 2018, we've grown rapidly into a genuinely global business without losing the pace and energy of a startup. Our team is collaborative, candid, and genuinely invested in the mission to change behaviours and save lives.

### About the role

You'll be the day-to-day lead for a team of Talent Specialists across Australia and the Philippines, freeing up the Senior Manager to focus on strategy, new contracts, and organisational growth. This is a hybrid people-leader and practitioner role where you'll run the team while also owning recruitment for senior and critical roles yourself.

**What you'll do:**

- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Talent Specialists, setting clear expectations and managing performance
- Own end-to-end recruitment for senior, critical, and Australian-based roles from brief through to offer
- Oversee the full team pipeline, balancing workload and acting as the primary escalation point before issues reach the Senior Manager
- Build and document recruitment SOPs, playbooks, and workflows that scale with the business
- Develop reporting cadences and dashboards tracking time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and pipeline health
- Design and deliver hiring manager training to build recruitment capability across the business
- Lead contract readiness — standing up ready-now pipelines and region-specific processes ahead of new market go-lives

### About you

You're a decisive, systems-minded talent leader who's ready to step into a 2IC role and own outcomes without needing to escalate every decision.

**You'll bring:**

- 5+ years in talent acquisition or people operations, including leadership responsibilities (or a relevant Bachelor's degree plus proven experience)
- End-to-end recruitment expertise across multiple international markets, including senior, technical, and hard-to-fill roles
- Experience designing and documenting recruitment processes and SOPs in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong command of ATS platforms (Workable preferred) and LinkedIn Recruiter
- A track record of building TA reporting and pipeline dashboards
- Solid understanding of multi-market hiring compliance in at least two of AU, UK, US, or NZ

**Bonus points for:**

- Experience with employment check platforms such as Checkmate
- Experience coaching and training hiring managers on structured interviewing techniques
- Experience onboarding new TA team members or designing induction programs

A note on the practical side: this role occasionally requires travel at short notice, and there'll be times when early mornings, evenings, or weekends are needed to support our global markets. Standard pre-employment checks (criminal history and driving history) apply.

### Why join us?

**Genuine leadership role.** You'll lead the operational engine of a growing global talent function with real autonomy to run the team and make the calls.

**Build something from the ground up**
Recruitment SOPs, playbooks, reporting dashboards, you'll design the systems that scale a talent function as Acusensus expands into new markets and contracts.

**Work that matters, globally**
You'll lead recruitment across four regions for a company with a mission to reduce road fatalities that deliver meaningful impact in the community
