**About the role**

You'll be the key operational link between Acusensus and a large government client, keeping a state road safety program running smoothly while protecting and growing the relationship that makes it possible.

What you'll do:

-   Act as the primary day-to-day operational contact for the government client, building trust and resolving concerns before they escalate
-   Support the Account Manager on program plans, timelines, budgets, and governance frameworks
-   Monitor contractual compliance and KPIs, proactively flagging and escalating risks
-   Prepare and quality-assure client reports, invoicing, program plans, and risk/issue logs
-   Apply data analysis to track performance metrics, surface trends, and inform decisions
-   Help plan and run governance meetings and client forums, including agendas and action tracking
-   Contribute to tender responses, contract renewals, and supporting documentation
-   Coordinate program resources , equipment, materials, and personnel to keep field operations running smoothly

## Requirements

**About you**

You're a strategic, operationally sharp professional who's comfortable navigating complex government environments and influencing outcomes without direct authority.

You'll bring:

-   Experience in account management, client management, or operations management in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment
-   Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn operational data into clear recommendations
-   Experience managing government contracts or working in a regulated, compliance-driven environment, with an understanding of SLAs, KPI reporting, and contract governance
-   A track record of managing multiple concurrent programs in a dynamic environment
-   Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging senior government and internal stakeholders
-   A proactive, self-directed working style, with strong judgement under pressure
-   A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Data Analytics, or Public Policy is highly regarded
-   Experience in road safety, enforcement, surveillance technology, or government technology programs is highly regarded.

One thing worth knowing: this role occasionally requires you to reside within 1 hour of our office in East Hartford to ensure you can easily connect with the client as needed.
