## Description

Adept Consulting Services is seeking a motivated and organized Recruiter to support high-volume hiring efforts for general labor positions across the United States. This individual will work closely with our internal recruiting and operations team to identify, screen, and coordinate qualified candidates for opportunities in multiple locations.

This is a full-time contract position with no specified end date. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple openings simultaneously, communicating with candidates from different backgrounds, and adapting quickly as hiring needs change.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Recruit general labor candidates for positions throughout the United States.
-   Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, resume databases, referrals, community organizations, and other recruiting channels.
-   Create and maintain job postings tailored to different markets and locations.
-   Review applications and resumes to identify candidates who meet position requirements.
-   Conduct initial phone screens to evaluate candidates’ experience, availability, transportation, work authorization, and overall suitability.
-   Clearly explain job responsibilities, schedules, compensation, travel requirements, work environments, and other position-specific expectations.
-   Coordinate interviews and maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
-   Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current and anticipated hiring needs.
-   Track candidate activity, interview results, hiring decisions, and onboarding progress.
-   Assist with offer communication, pre-employment requirements, and onboarding coordination.
-   Follow up with candidates promptly and provide professional updates throughout the process.
-   Partner with internal team members to understand staffing priorities and meet hiring deadlines.
-   Maintain accurate and confidential recruiting records.
-   Help identify recruiting challenges in different geographic markets and recommend solutions.

## Requirements

### Required Qualifications

-   Previous recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition, or high-volume hiring experience.
-   Experience recruiting for general labor, warehouse, manufacturing, construction, logistics, field services, or similar positions is strongly preferred.
-   Ability to manage multiple job openings and candidates across different states and time zones.
-   Strong phone, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
-   Excellent organization, follow-up, and time-management abilities.
-   Comfortable conducting frequent phone screens and communicating with a high volume of applicants.
-   Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with an internal team.
-   Proficiency with job boards, Microsoft Office, and online recruiting tools.
-   Ability to handle candidate and company information professionally and confidentially.

### Preferred Qualifications

-   Experience supporting nationwide or multi-state recruiting efforts.
-   Familiarity with Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, or similar recruiting platforms.
-   Experience recruiting for positions with varying schedules, travel requirements, or project-based assignments.
-   Experience with applicant tracking systems or candidate-management databases.
-   Understanding of recruiting practices and employment considerations across multiple states.
