**Workplace:** hybrid

**Department:** Dev

## Description

**Adservio Luxembourg**
Adservio Luxembourg is the Luxembourg arm of Adservio Group, 300+ consultants across Paris, Brussels and Luxembourg, and 15 years serving regulated industries as a group. Our Luxembourg office opened in 2022 and works across financial services, energy and utilities, transport and mobility, insurance and the public sector: wherever compliance is not optional and failure is not acceptable. You join our Technologies & Engineering team.

**The context**
With our team, you work for a financial institution in Luxembourg that is moving its core applications to an event-driven, cloud-native architecture, while its established integration and batch layers stay in service. Under DORA, operational resilience sits under direct supervisory scrutiny: every service you ship has to be observable, recoverable and auditable.

**Your mission**
You build the services that let your client evolve its applications quickly without trading away reliability.

_Build the services_

- You design and develop microservices from specification to production, and own their quality through unit tests and peer review.
- You implement the event flows and the read and write models behind them.

_Keep data fast and consistent_

- You tune queries and stored procedures for performance under production load.
- You design the document stores that sit alongside the relational core.

_Ship and run_

- You automate build, test and deployment through the team’s pipelines.
- You diagnose production issues across services, integration layers and scheduled jobs.
- You work in Scrum with product, QA and operations, and adjust as priorities shift.

**Your profile**
You have built and run distributed systems in production, not only read about them.

_What is essential_

- Strong C# expertise on .NET Core and .NET Framework, with unit testing built into the way you code.
- Microservices delivered in production on Microsoft Azure (mandatory), containerised and released through CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, with Git.
- Hands-on Event Sourcing, CQRS and event-driven architecture with Azure Event Hub or Kafka.
- Advanced SQL Server (performance tuning, stored procedures) and a NoSQL store such as Azure Cosmos DB.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, and practice of Agile/Scrum delivery.

_What makes the difference_

- Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash) or a similar observability suite.
- IBM Integration Bus or a similar enterprise service bus, and an enterprise scheduler such as Automic.
- Knowledge of the banking sector.

**Languages**
Required: fluent English, written and spoken.

**What you’ll find with us**
**A tribe of senior peers.** You join our development tribe: senior engineers, peer code reviews and shared technology watch.
**Expertise as a recognised status.** Our Subject Matter Experts are named as such, and are called on by fellow consultants and by clients across the group.
**Regulated environments, across sectors.** This assignment is anchored in financial services, but our engineering work runs across energy, transport, insurance and the public sector, and resilience patterns travel. You will not stay a single-sector consultant.
**A practice still being built, with a clear path.** Our Luxembourg office opened in 2022 and is taking shape now, backed by a group of 300+ consultants. What you help put in place becomes the way we work. Our grade framework is explicit, with an expert track for those who choose depth over management.

**How we hire**
Application → Conversation with HR → Technical interview with your future peers → Feedback and decision. Whatever the outcome, you will hear back from us.
