### Job Summary

Advance is currently seeking a **reliable and motivated Apprentice Electrician** to join one of our client’s growing electrical teams in **McAllen, TX**. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a long-term career in the electrical trade while working under the supervision of licensed electricians.

The Apprentice Electrician will assist with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings while learning industry standards, safety practices, and local electrical codes.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Assist licensed electricians with electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance
-   Run conduit, pull wire, and install outlets, switches, and fixtures
-   Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and work orders
-   Use hand and power tools safely and correctly
-   Follow all safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company policies
-   Maintain clean and organized job sites
-   Transport materials and equipment as needed
-   Learn and apply National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements
-   Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

### Qualifications

-   **Must have a TDLR Apprentice Electrical License**
-   4+ Years of Commercial Electrical Experience

-   Enrollment in or completion of an electrical trade school is a plus
-   Basic knowledge of electrical tools and materials
-   Valid Driver’s License + Reliable Transportation
-   Able to Lift Up to 50 lbs. & Work at Heights
