**AdvisaCare** is seeking a **full time Respiratory Therapist Director** in the **Lansing, MI** area. With dedication and hard work, we deliver **Skilled** and **Private Duty** care in various settings for a diverse patient group. Our staff are committed to providing professional care to each of our patients ensuring their lives are enhanced by our involvement. **Our goal is to safely transition the patient from a hospital setting to their home while improving their quality of life!!**

**Responsibilities:**  

-   Manage records, complete necessary paperwork, and perform patient assessments
-   Ability to travel up to 2 hours away from Lansing when necessary
-   Ability to educate and administer all aspects of respiratory therapy including mechanical ventilation and trachs
-   Participate in training and transitioning of the patient from a facility to the home setting.
-   Comply with all policies and standards of safety and infection control.
-   Perform all duties and responsibilities in a courteous and customer-focused manner in accordance with Advisacares standards of practice.
-   Monday-Friday 8a-5p

## Requirements

-   Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
-   Licensed through the state of Michigan as a Respiratory Therapist
-   Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program

-   Knowledge of modern principles, methods, materials, and equipment
-   Knowledge of possible hazards to patients and appropriate precautions
-   Minimum of 1 year Respiratory Therapy experience
-   Management experience preferred
-   Reliable Transportation
-   Valid Driver’s License
-   Ability to Pass Drug Screen/Clear Background
