A key partner in the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA), the Bank launched the Pan-African Payment and Settlement System (PAPSS), adopted by the African Union as the continent’s payment and settlement platform, and established a US$10 billion Adjustment Fund to support member states.
