We are a rapidly scaling UAE-based AI and technology business operating globally across AI consulting, SaaS solutions, and digital services. We support entrepreneurs and businesses in implementing AI-driven systems and growth strategies.

We are seeking a highly capable Junior Full Stack Accountant to support the Finance Director and broader leadership team across all aspects of financial accounting, management reporting, compliance, reconciliations, and operational finance.

This role is ideal for a commercially minded accountant who has worked remotely within fast-paced online businesses, particularly SaaS, AI, technology, digital marketing, or subscription-based business models.

**Position Overview**

The Junior Full Stack Accountant will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the business while assisting with management reporting, forecasting, revenue analysis, payment processor reconciliations, and financial controls.

The successful candidate will be comfortable operating independently in a fully remote environment and will possess strong technical accounting skills combined with an understanding of modern online business models.  
  
**Key Responsibilities  
**

**Financial Accounting**

-   Maintain accurate accounting records.
-   Process and reconcile bank accounts, payment processors, and corporate card accounts.
-   Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
-   Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
-   Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
-   Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules.
-   Ensure completeness and accuracy of general ledger transactions.  
    

**Management Accounting**

-   Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting packs.
-   Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis.
-   Support cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
-   Monitor key financial performance indicators.
-   Analyse revenue trends, margins, refund rates, and operating expenses.
-   Assist with profitability analysis by product, service line, and customer segment.  
    

**Revenue & SaaS Finance**

-   Reconcile revenue across payment processors & Other payment platforms
-   Assist with deferred revenue and revenue recognition schedules.
-   Monitor subscription revenue, payment plans, and recurring billing metrics.
-   Track customer acquisition and operational financial KPIs.

    Compliance & Controls  
    **

-   Support external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors.
-   Maintain finance policies and procedures.
-   Ensure accurate supporting documentation is retained.
-   Assist with UAE corporate tax and international compliance requirements.
-   Support KYC, AML, and banking requests.  
    

**Systems & Automation**

-   Work within cloud accounting and reporting platforms.
-   Assist with finance process automation initiatives.
-   Support integration of accounting systems with operational software.
-   Help improve reporting accuracy and efficiency using AI and automation tools.

## Requirements

**Required Qualifications**  
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.  
Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience.  
Strong understanding of:  
Financial Accounting  
Management Accounting  
Financial Reporting  
Reconciliations  
Cash Flow Management  
• Advanced XERO and Google Sheets skills.  
• Experience working remotely for international businesses.  
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.  
• High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.  
• Familiarity with AI tools and automation platforms.  
  
**Industry Experience Required**  
Candidates must demonstrate experience working remotely within one or more of the following industries:  

-   SaaS
-   AI businesses
-   Digital agencies
-   Subscription businesses
-   Technology companies
-   High-growth online businesses

  
  
**Preferred Qualifications  
**SAIPA, CIMA, ACCA, SAICA trainee experience, or equivalent.  
Experience with: Xero, Wise, Stripe andGoogle Workspace  
Exposure to UAE, UK, or US business operations.  
Experience with revenue recognition principles (IFRS 15 preferred).  
Familiarity with AI tools and automation platforms.

Working Arrangement**

-   Fully remote position.
-   South African-based contractor preferred.
-   Must have a dedicated home office and reliable high-speed internet connection.
-   Availability to overlap with UAE and UK business hours.
-   Independent contractor engagement only.
-   Candidate is responsible for their own taxes, statutory obligations, equipment, and insurance requirements.

  
**Compensation**

-   USD $2,500 – $3,000 per month contractor fee.
