Operational Management: \- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the combined cycle power plant, including gas turbines, steam turbines, heat recovery steam generators (HRSG), and other auxiliary systems, ensuring they operate within design parameters. \- Ensure that power generation meets the demand specified in the PPA, continuously monitoring load requirements and adjusting output accordingly. 2\. Supervision and Team Leadership: \- Lead, mentor, and supervise the operations team during the shift, ensuring compliance with safety practices and operational procedures. \- Promote a culture of safety, reliability, and accountability among team members, and provide training to enhance operational capabilities. 3\. Compliance with PPA and Regulatory Standards: \- Ensure compliance with all terms of the Power Purchase Agreement, including availability, output, and reporting requirements. \- Adhere to all environmental regulations and operational standards to minimize impact and ensure responsible plant operation. 4\. Monitoring and Performance Reporting: \- Use plant control systems to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational parameters, responding promptly to alarms and anomalies to maintain safe and efficient operations. \- Prepare detailed shift reports that document operational performance, incidents, and any deviations from expected outputs or procedures. 5\. Emergency Response and Troubleshooting: \- Act as the first point of contact in emergency situations, effectively coordinating response efforts and implementing the plant's emergency procedures. \- Lead troubleshooting efforts to identify and resolve operational issues, coordinating with maintenance and engineering teams as needed. 6\. Relevant certifications in power plant operation or management are an asset. Experience: Around   8 years  years of experience in power plant operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role; specific experience in combined cycle plants is preferred. Siemens GT based CCGT experience is preferred. Technical Knowledge:Strong understanding of combined cycle power generation processes, including a solid grasp of regulatory considerations and contractual obligations under a PPA. Languages: Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
