We are looking for a **Junior Database Administrator (SQL)** to join a leading company in the **banking sector**. This is a great opportunity for an early-career developer who wants to build their expertise in Microsoft technologies while working on enterprise-scale applications.  
  
**Responsibilities:**  
\- Support the administration, maintenance, and monitoring of SQL databases.

\- Assist in managing and maintaining database environments, including Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle.

\- Help monitor database performance and identify opportunities for optimization.

\- Support the implementation and maintenance of backup and recovery processes.

\- Assist in database replication and high-availability configurations.

\- Contribute to the maintenance and optimization of data warehouses.

\- Support the creation and maintenance of reports using Power BI.

\- Collaborate with senior database administrators to troubleshoot database issues and ensure system availability.

\- Assist with database migrations, upgrades, and routine maintenance activities.

\- Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure database reliability, security, and performance.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (mandatory).
-   1–2 years of experience in Database Administration or Database Support.
-   Basic knowledge of relational database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle.
-   Familiarity with database backup and recovery concepts.
-   Basic understanding of database performance monitoring and optimization.
-   Exposure to replication, clustering, or high-availability concepts is a plus.
-   Familiarity with Azure and MongoDB is considered an advantage.
-   Basic knowledge of data warehouse concepts.
-   Experience or familiarity with Power BI for reporting is a plus.
-   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-   Eagerness to learn and develop within database administration.
-   Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
