# Plumbing Estimator - Commercial & Industrial Plumbing

## Description

We’re seeking an experienced Plumbing Estimator to prepare accurate, competitive bids for commercial and industrial plumbing and process piping projects.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Prepare estimates, bids, and budgets for labor, materials, equipment, and installation costs.
-   Review blueprints, MEP drawings, and specifications to perform accurate quantity takeoffs.
-   Identify scope gaps, cost risks, and potential change orders before bid submission.
-   Obtain and evaluate supplier, vendor, and subcontractor quotes to develop competitive pricing.
-   Coordinate with general contractors, engineers, and trade partners to clarify project requirements.
-   Update estimates for change orders and maintain organized bid records and historical cost data.

## Requirements

-   5+ years of commercial or industrial plumbing estimating experience.
-   Direct experience estimating plumbing systems and/or process piping installations.
-   Background with a plumbing, mechanical, or MEP contracting company.
-   Ability to interpret technical drawings, plumbing layouts, and construction specifications.
-   Strong knowledge of construction labor costs, material pricing, and estimating methods.
-   Proficiency with estimating software, digital takeoff tools, and Microsoft Office.

**Important:** Candidates must have direct commercial or industrial plumbing estimating experience. Residential-only estimators and general construction estimators without relevant plumbing experience will not qualify.
