# Senior CCP Public Sector Comp & Classification Lead

## Description

AlphaGov (Casa Moon LLC d/b/a AlphaGov) delivers public-sector consulting for cities, counties, school systems, special districts, utilities, and related agencies. Our work spans classification and compensation, organizational and operational studies, research and program evaluation, economic and workforce analysis, surveys and community research, and applied data and infrastructure research.  
  
We engage experienced practitioners as project-based collaborators. Engagements are remote-first with occasional client travel. When you authorize it, AlphaGov may name you as an expert collaborator or key personnel on proposals that match your expertise. We build ready teams for live pursuits — not speculative staffing banks.  
  
This senior lead role is for CCP-credentialed (or equivalent) practitioners who can anchor scored municipal classification and compensation proposals and guide delivery quality for city, county, school, and related public employers.  
  
What you'll do:  
\- Lead compensation and classification methodology, quality review, and client-facing delivery  
\- Guide job-structure and pay-plan analyses and validate SME work products  
\- Facilitate stakeholder sessions and present findings to public-sector leaders  
\- Coordinate subject-matter experts across concurrent municipal pursuits  
\- Support implementation recommendations and defensible written deliverables  
\- Authorize written name use and live references on proposals that match your expertise (when you agree)

## Requirements

-   Required:  
    CCP strongly preferred, or equivalent deep public-sector total-rewards and classification/compensation leadership experience  
    Three to five live municipal, school, or county references, with at least one completed within the last two years  
    Willingness to authorize written name use and references on proposals, RFPs, RFQs, and related pursuits  
    Ability to lead methodology, quality review, stakeholder facilitation, and client-facing delivery  
    Strong public-sector writing, presentation, and relationship-management skills  
      
    Nice to have:  
    Recent scored-proposal experience as named technical lead on municipal class/comp RFPs  
    Experience mentoring junior class/comp analysts
