# Plumbing Estimator - Commercial & Industrial Plumbing

## Description

We’re looking for an experienced **Commercial Plumbing Estimator** to develop competitive bids for commercial and industrial plumbing and process piping projects.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Develop project estimates, bids, and budgets based on labor, materials, equipment, and installation costs.
-   Review blueprints, MEP drawings, and specifications to complete accurate quantity takeoffs.
-   Identify scope discrepancies, cost risks, and potential project changes before bids are submitted.
-   Request and evaluate vendor, supplier, and subcontractor quotes to establish competitive pricing.
-   Work with general contractors, engineers, and trade partners to confirm project requirements and resolve pricing questions.
-   Revise estimates for change orders and maintain organized bid records and historical cost data.

## Requirements

-   At least 5 years of commercial or industrial plumbing estimating experience.
-   Hands-on experience pricing plumbing systems and/or process piping installations.
-   Previous employment with a plumbing, mechanical, or MEP contracting company.
-   Ability to interpret technical drawings, plumbing layouts, and construction specifications.
-   Strong understanding of construction labor costs, material pricing, and estimating methods.
-   Proficiency with estimating software, digital takeoff tools, and Microsoft Office.

**Important:** Candidates must have direct commercial or industrial plumbing estimating experience. Residential-only or general construction estimating backgrounds will not qualify.
