## Description

We are hiring a BIM Coordinator to support healthcare, institutional, and large-scale commercial electrical construction projects within a self-performing electrical contractor.

We are specifically looking for someone who can model and coordinate electrical systems in Revit and Navisworks, resolve clashes with other trades, and produce accurate drawings that can be used for prefabrication and field installation.

This is a construction-focused BIM position—not an architectural modeling role. You will work directly with Project Managers, field leadership, engineers, and other trade partners to improve constructability, reduce rework, and ensure coordinated information reaches the field on time.

**Responsibilities**

-   Develop and maintain coordinated commercial electrical BIM models using Revit and Navisworks
-   Participate in clash-detection meetings and resolve electrical conflicts with mechanical, plumbing, structural, and architectural systems
-   Produce shop drawings, installation drawings, layout information, and other field-ready construction documents
-   Review electrical drawings, specifications, revisions, and project requirements for accuracy and constructability
-   Support prefabrication and field installation by providing timely model updates and technical coordination
-   Maintain BIM standards, project files, drawing records, and coordination schedules

## Requirements

-   2+ years of BIM coordination experience in commercial electrical construction
-   Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and Navisworks required
-   Direct experience modeling and coordinating commercial electrical systems
-   Experience participating in multidisciplinary clash-detection and coordination meetings
-   Ability to read and interpret electrical construction drawings, specifications, and design documents
-   Understanding of electrical installation methods, construction sequencing, and field workflows
-   Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
