## Description

We are seeking a **Tax Accountant** to join a growing public accounting firm serving privately held businesses, business owners, and high-net-worth individuals. This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional with **3–5 years of public accounting experience** and a strong background in tax preparation, compliance, and planning.

### Responsibilities

-   Prepare and review federal, state, and local business tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and S corporations
-   Prepare complex individual income tax returns for business owners, executives, and high-net-worth clients
-   Conduct tax research and assist with planning strategies
-   Communicate directly with clients through phone, email, and virtual meetings
-   Collaborate with partners on tax planning and advisory engagements
-   Ensure timely, accurate compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
-   Assist with consulting projects and other specialized tax engagements
-   Maintain high-quality work while managing multiple client deadlines

## Requirements

-   3–5 years of public accounting experience with a primary focus on tax
-   Experience preparing business entity and complex individual tax returns
-   Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
-   Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
-   CPA license or CPA candidate preferred, but not required
-   Ability to work independently in a remote environment
-   Must reside in the Eastern or Central time zone
-   Candidates with more extensive experience may work fully remote; those with less experience should be willing to travel occasionally to the Allentown, PA office for training and collaboration
