We are hiring an experienced **Construction Estimator** to prepare accurate, competitive bids for commercial interior construction projects. This role focuses on estimating projects involving **commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, and commercial flooring**, ensuring complete and accurate pricing from initial plan review through bid submission.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial construction estimating, excels at performing quantity takeoffs, analyzing project documents, coordinating vendor and subcontractor pricing, and developing detailed cost estimates. ### Key Responsibilities

-   Prepare detailed estimates for commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceiling, and flooring projects.
-   Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements.
-   Perform accurate quantity takeoffs for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work.
-   Solicit and evaluate pricing from vendors and subcontractors to develop competitive bids.
-   Identify scope gaps, exclusions, value engineering opportunities, and potential project risks before bid submission.
-   Develop complete bid proposals, budgets, and supporting documentation.
-   Collaborate with project managers, field teams, suppliers, and clients to clarify project scope and resolve estimating questions.
-   Maintain organized estimating records using estimating and project management software.
-   Support project handoff by providing detailed estimate information to operations teams following project award.

## Requirements

-   **3+ years** of estimating experience in commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, commercial flooring, or related interior construction trades.
-   Commercial drywall or interior construction estimating experience is required.
-   Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, materials, and building systems.
-   Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
-   Experience performing detailed quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, and bid preparation.
-   Proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar estimating software is preferred.
-   Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-   High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
