# Water Workforce Education Partner - K-12 & Higher Ed (WIL Collaborator)

## Description

WIL partners with educators and institutions to build water-sector career awareness and education pathways for elementary, secondary, and postsecondary students. We are seeking education partners who can co-develop curriculum exposure, career exploration, dual-enrollment / bridge experiences, or student work-based learning tied to water careers.  
  
What you'll do  
\- Represent a school district, community college, university, or education nonprofit with water-career programming capacity  
\- Co-design education activities (modules, camps, career days, dual credit, or lab experiences)  
\- Identify student populations and delivery geography  
\- Support partnership documentation for joint education/workforce proposals when agreed  
\- Advise on learning outcomes and measurement appropriate to education settings

## Requirements

-   Required  
    \- Role at a K–12 LEA, community college, university, or education nonprofit  
    \- Experience delivering STEM/CTE career education, water/environmental education, or work-based learning  
    \- Ability to discuss institutional partnership pathways  
    \- Willingness to engage on a time-bounded collaborator basis  
    \- Authorization to work with a U.S. nonprofit research organization  
      
    Nice to have  
    \- Existing water/wastewater industry advisory relationships  
    \- Dual-enrollment or pre-apprenticeship bridges already operating  
    \- Rural, tribal, or underserved student reach
