AlphaHire is seeking a dynamic Government Contracts Sales Director to lead our government sales initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing government contracts across various agencies and levels. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven history of closing government deals and a passion for growing revenue within the public sector. You will work closely with internal teams to align solutions with government procurement requirements and drive sustained growth in government sales.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Develop and execute sales strategies to capture government contracts at federal, state, and local levels.
-   Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, contracting officers, and key decision-makers.
-   Manage the sales pipeline and forecast government sales revenue accurately.
-   Lead proposal development efforts ensuring compliance with government regulations and requirements.
-   Collaborate with internal stakeholders to tailor offerings to government customer needs.
-   Monitor government market trends and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
-   Drive new business opportunities and foster partnership opportunities within the government sector.

## Requirements

-   Minimum 7 years of experience in government contracts sales or business development.
-   Proven success in securing government contracts and managing complex sales cycles.
-   Strong knowledge of government procurement processes, including RFPs, bids, and contracting regulations.
-   Familiarity with government contracting platforms such as SAM.gov and GovWin.
-   Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
-   Ability to work independently and lead initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
-   Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, or related field preferred.
