## Description

AlphaGov delivers public-sector consulting for cities, counties, school systems, special districts, utilities, and related agencies. Our work spans classification and compensation, organizational and operational studies, research and program evaluation, economic and workforce analysis, surveys and community research, and applied data and infrastructure research.

We engage experienced practitioners as project-based collaborators. Engagements are remote-first with occasional client travel. When you authorize it, AlphaGov may name you as an expert collaborator or key personnel on proposals that match your expertise. We build ready teams for live pursuits — not speculative staffing banks.

AlphaGov is engaging a Public Investment Advisor for current state authority work. A state public authority needs investment advisory services.

We confirm scope, schedule, and fee with you before any engagement begins.

What you'll do

\- Develop and monitor investment policy and portfolio strategy for public funds

\- Ensure compliance with state public authority investment guidelines

\- Provide performance reporting and market analysis

\- Present to boards and finance committees

\- Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when you authorize naming

## Requirements

Required

\- At least 5 years of professional experience in public funds investment advisory

\- SEC-registered investment adviser or affiliation with one

\- Comfortable as a 1099 project-based consultant

Nice to have

\- New York State public authorities experience

\- CFA

\- Fixed income portfolio management
