# Plumbing Superintendent - Commercial Construction

## Description

We are looking for a Superintendent with specific commercial plumbing experience to take hands-on ownership of field execution across commercial and industrial plumbing projects. This role will lead day-to-day site operations, direct field crews and subcontractors, and ensure plumbing and process piping work is completed safely, correctly, and according to schedule. The Superintendent will serve as the key field leader responsible for translating project plans into successful job-site execution. **Responsibilities**

-   Lead daily field operations for commercial and industrial plumbing and process piping projects from mobilization through completion.
-   Direct plumbing crews, subcontractors, and field personnel to maintain production, schedule, quality, and safety expectations.
-   Review plumbing drawings, specifications, schedules, and installation requirements before and during field execution.
-   Coordinate daily work activities with project management, general contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, and other trades.
-   Track job-site progress and identify field conditions, conflicts, material needs, and schedule risks before they impact production.
-   Verify plumbing installations are completed according to plans, specifications, applicable codes, and project requirements.
-   Conduct site walks and quality-control inspections throughout active phases of construction.
-   Manage material deliveries, manpower requirements, equipment needs, and sequencing to keep projects moving efficiently.
-   Communicate field progress, challenges, and required corrective actions to project management and other project stakeholders.

## Requirements

-   5+ years of direct Superintendent or Foreman-level experience on commercial plumbing projects.
-   Specific commercial plumbing experience required, with industrial plumbing or process piping experience strongly preferred.
-   Proven ability to lead plumbing crews and oversee field execution on active construction sites.
-   Strong ability to read and interpret plumbing drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
-   Experience coordinating plumbing work with general contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, and other trades.
-   Working knowledge of commercial plumbing installation, sequencing, field troubleshooting, and quality requirements.
-   Must have direct field leadership experience and be comfortable taking ownership of job-site execution.
-   Residential-only plumbing experience will not be sufficient for this position.
