# Project Manager - Commercial Drywall & Metal Framing

## Description

We are hiring an experienced **Project Manager** to oversee commercial drywall and metal framing projects from award through closeout. This role is responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, procurement, documentation, and client communication while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Experience with **acoustical ceilings, commercial flooring, or other interior construction trades** is a strong advantage. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional who excels at coordinating multiple stakeholders and delivering high-quality commercial projects.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Lead commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceiling, and flooring projects from kickoff through final completion.
-   Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and execution plans.
-   Review plans, specifications, contracts, and project documents to ensure scope accuracy.
-   Coordinate with owners, architects, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams.
-   Track project costs, labor productivity, material procurement, and subcontractor performance.
-   Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, pay applications, and project documentation.
-   Perform regular jobsite visits to monitor safety, quality, schedule, and overall project progress.
-   Identify project risks early and implement solutions to minimize delays and cost impacts.
-   Oversee project closeout, including punch lists, warranties, final documentation, and turnover packages.
-   Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through proactive communication and reliable project execution.

## Requirements

-   **3+ years** of project management experience in commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, commercial flooring, or related interior construction.
-   Commercial drywall and metal framing experience is required.
-   Strong understanding of commercial construction practices, scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and cost control.
-   Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
-   Experience managing multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously.
-   Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software is preferred.
-   Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
-   High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
