# Decentralized Water Systems Training Partner - Wells & Septic (WIL Collaborator)

## Description

WIL is seeking partners who train or employ professionals serving private wells and onsite/septic systems expanding the decentralized water workforce that protects public health in communities not on centralized systems.

What you'll do

\- Represent a training provider, public health agency, cooperative extension, nonprofit, or employer serving well/septic professionals

\- Co-design education/training for decentralized water workers

\- Define target geographies (often rural) and trainee pathways

\- Support partnership documentation for joint proposals when agreed

\- Advise on credentials, safety, and public-health competencies for the field

## Requirements

-   Required
-   \- Direct experience with private well, septic, or decentralized water training/service delivery
-   \- Organizational affiliation able to host or co-deliver training
-   \- Willingness for time-bounded collaboration
-   \- Authorization to work with a U.S. nonprofit research organization

Nice to have

\- State onsite/wastewater certification program ties

\- Rural / tribal community reach

\- Existing trainee placement into decentralized water jobs
