# Project Manager - Real Estate Development / Custom Residential Construction

## Description

We are hiring an experienced **Project Manager** to support real estate development, custom residential construction, and investment-related projects in the Charlotte, NC area.

This role is ideal for someone with construction or real estate development project management experience who can coordinate projects from planning through completion. The Project Manager will work closely with ownership, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and internal teams to keep projects organized, on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality expectations.

The right candidate should be hands-on, organized, proactive, and comfortable working across multiple project types, including custom homes, residential development, land development, and related construction initiatives.

### Responsibilities

-   Manage real estate development and residential construction projects from planning through completion
-   Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, suppliers, inspections, and project schedules
-   Review plans, scopes of work, budgets, schedules, contracts, and project requirements
-   Track project progress, costs, timelines, change orders, and key deliverables
-   Communicate regularly with ownership, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
-   Support permitting, procurement, scheduling, budgeting, and project documentation
-   Identify project delays, field issues, budget concerns, or coordination problems early
-   Help resolve project challenges while maintaining schedule, quality, and client expectations
-   Maintain organized project records, updates, meeting notes, and communication logs
-   Represent the company professionally with project partners, clients, and community stakeholders

## Requirements

-   3+ years of project management experience in construction, real estate development, residential construction, or a related field
-   Experience with custom homes, residential development, land development, or multifamily projects preferred
-   Strong understanding of construction schedules, budgets, subcontractor coordination, and project documentation
-   Ability to read and understand plans, scopes of work, contracts, schedules, and project documents
-   Strong communication skills with ownership, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants
-   Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities at once
-   Strong problem-solving skills and ability to keep projects moving without constant supervision
-   Comfortable working in both office and field/project-site environments
-   Local to the Charlotte, NC area or able to reliably commute to project sites
-   Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
