ALTEN Mexico as a subsidiary of the ALTEN Group. Currently working with international clients, and we are looking for an **Electrical Engineer wh**o will contribute to the development of an **Iron Air Battery**, a large-scale energy storage solution, through the design, development, and validation of the **electrical systems** of the Iron Air Battery, ensuring functionality, safety, and compliance with industry standards.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Design **electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts** for power, control, and monitoring systems.
-   Perform **short-circuit, overcurrent, and ground fault analyses** to ensure system safety.
-   Select **electrical components** (e.g., relays, fuses, transformers) based on technical requirements.
-   Validate designs through **laboratory testing** (e.g., insulation, dielectric strength).
-   Collaborate with **CAE and mechanical teams** to integrate electrical systems.
-   Document **technical specifications, user manuals, and test reports.**
-   Ensure compliance with **electrical standards** (e.g., NEC, IEC 61439, UL 508A).

## Requirements

### **Must‑Have Qualifications**

-   Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in **Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.**
-   3+ years of experience in AUTOCAD Electrical, EPLAN, Solidworks Electrical or related.
-   Knowledge of electrical standards such as NEC, IEC, UL and component selection.
-   Ability to review electrical diagrams with cross-functional teams.
-   Ability to participate in electrical safety reviews and risk analyses (e.g., FMEA).
-   Support certification documentation (e.g., UL, IEC).

-   **English level B2–C1**.

### **Preferred Skills**

-   Experience in Energy Storage Systems, Power Electronics.
-   Knowledge in SCADA/PLC.
-   Hands-on experience with corrosive/hight-temperature design
-   Knowledge in Python/LabVIEW
