ALTEN Mexico as a subsidiary of the ALTEN Group. Currently working with international clients, we are looking for **Senior Mechanical Engineers** with strong experience in **battery systems, electromechanical product design, and manufacturing support**. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy hands-on development, CAD excellence, supplier collaboration, and solving complex mechanical challenges.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Mechanical design for **battery cell integration**, enclosures, and electro‑mechanical assemblies.
-   Create **3D models, 2D drawings, GD&T**, and BOMs for tooling release.
-   Perform **tolerance stack-ups, DFMEA**, and design robustness activities.
-   Update designs for **automated assembly**, DFM/DFA, and manufacturing transfer.
-   Support **prototyping**, on-site builds, suppliers, and international manufacturing partners.

## Requirements

### **Must‑Have Qualifications**

-   Engineering degree: **Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electromechanical, Manufacturing, Automotive, Aerospace**.
-   **6+ years** of product design experience.
-   Experience with **batteries, energy storage, EV, or PCBA packaging**.
-   Strong CAD skills: **Onshape, NX, SolidWorks**.
-   PFMEA, PPAP, DFM experience
-   Advanced English + **valid travel visa**.

-   Thermal management knowledge

-   PLM (Teamcenter/Windchill/Agile)
