Ninja is looking for an experienced **Area Manager** to oversee the performance and day-to-day operations of multiple **dark stores** across the North region. This role is ideal for a hands-on operations leader with experience in **quick commerce, grocery e-commerce, retail, fulfillment, or last-mile operations**.  

As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our dark stores operate efficiently, consistently, and at the speed required to deliver an excellent customer experience. You will lead teams across **inventory, picking and packing, order fulfillment, replenishment, quality control, and store operations**, while driving key operational and commercial KPIs.  

### Key Responsibilities

-   Oversee daily operations across **inventory, replenishment, picking, packing, dispatch, and order fulfillment**.
-   Ensure dark stores meet targets for **order accuracy, fulfillment speed, product availability, and customer service**.
-   Lead and develop Store Managers and operational teams, including **staffing, scheduling, coaching, and performance management**.
-   Monitor key KPIs such as **picking productivity, inventory accuracy, stock availability, shrinkage, wastage, and order fulfillment time**.
-   Identify operational gaps and implement initiatives to improve **productivity, efficiency, cost, and customer experience**.
-   Partner with Supply Chain, Last Mile, Commercial, and Customer Experience teams to resolve issues and improve service levels.
-   Ensure compliance with **food safety, hygiene, and operational standards** across all stores.

## Requirements

-   3+ years of experience in **dark stores, quick commerce, grocery e-commerce, retail, fulfillment, or warehouse operations**.

-   Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, compliance standards, and safety protocols.
-   Experience managing **multiple locations and high-volume operational teams**.
-   Strong understanding of **inventory and fulfillment operations**.
-   Data-driven with strong **leadership, problem-solving, and execution skills.**
-   **Effective communication** and **interpersonal skills** to collaborate with store teams, inventory teams, supply chain teams, and operations leaders.
