# Andromium Careers

>
Andromium Inc. is building a future where the only computer you'll need is your smartphone.

Founded by Google and Y Combinator alumni, Andromium’s software makes Android function like a familiar desktop -- no technical knowledge or custom firmware needed. Our flagship hardware is the Superbook, a shell that turns your Android phone into a laptop (just raised nearly $3M on Kickstarter).

Our team is building a desktop experience inside of Android for a product aimed at enabling the next billion knowledge workers, and we're seeking our first full-time employees. We're looking for early team members who want to sink their teeth into a difficult but incredibly rewarding challenge. We want platform builders - not just someone who wants to develop apps for Android, but someone who wants to extend and improve on how Android is used.

This will be a challenge with incredible payoff - the altruistic and social implications of what we accomplish will be long-lasting, and we hope you'll join us in our mission.
