## Description

To Assist Principal in all Training and Administration related functions in AEMA Campus.

**ROLES ACCOUNTABILITIES:**

1.     Maintain attendance record and review the progress of the faculties and trainees in their respective batch.

2.     Arrange special counselling training for trainees requiring additional support.

3.     Assist Principal in managing and controlling the activities of the Academy.

4.     Vice-Principal to take charge in the absence of the principal.

5.     Monitor and control the day to day running of DNS, GME, ETO, & STCW courses under their charge and related activities

6.     Plan and execute the annual training calendar for all STCW courses keeping in view the training needs and the available faculty

7.     Overview as a member of the AEMA Training Committee.

8.     Review course feedback and initiate improvements/corrective action in consultation/coordination with the principal within 15 working days of receivable of the course feedback (CO/07) from trainees

9.     Monitors non-conformity reports and initiates corrective action in consultation with the principal.

 Monitors and controls the Training Records maintained for all training activities.

## Requirements

**Professional skills**

-   Maritime Industry

**PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:**

**Education:**

1\. Seafarer with master (FG) or MEO Class 1 COC, preferably with a management degree OR M.Sc.

2\. TOTA/VICT & AECS

**Experience:**

Experience as Master or C/E + 5 years of experience in field of Maritime Training or Safety & Quality
