## Description

Apave Cameroun is recruiting a **Finance Operations Manager for an international company** in the **Food Manufacturing and Agribusiness Sourcing** sector, for a full-time position based in **Yaoundé, Cameroon**.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, and working in close collaboration with the local team and regional headquarters, you will ensure financial integrity, manage day-to-day accounting and administrative operations, oversee local reporting, and provide reliable data to drive sustainable business operations.

### **Key Responsibilities**

### **Financial & Accounting Operations**

-   Collect and process all accounting documentation (bank statements, vendor and client invoices).
-   Issue invoices for cocoa bean sales and track corresponding receivables.
-   Assist with monthly financial closing processes, including accruals, provisions, account reconciliations, and local/group reporting.
-   Prepare clear cash flow statements to ensure continuous cash visibility and control.
-   Actively participate in the annual budgeting process by updating cost information across different product lines and coordinating with the Regional Finance department and auditors.
-   Monitor operational cost structures, including fermentation and transportation costs.

### **Business Support & Sourcing Follow-up**

-   Oversee financial data for sourcing operations, ensuring the completeness of prefinancing, reception, stock, sales, and delivery data.
-   Prepare scenarios and financial models to support local business decisions.
-   Engage actively with local cooperatives to exchange information, collect outstanding invoices, and manage premium distributions.
-   Serve as the primary point of contact for local banks, service providers, and suppliers to share pricing and ensure smooth operations.

### **System Integrity & Compliance**

-   Maintain the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of the internal accounting system.
-   Ensure full compliance with local statutory regulations, tax laws, and international accounting standards.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
-   Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a finance, accounting, or controlling role, preferably within the **cocoa, agribusiness, or manufacturing** sector.
-   Strong knowledge of accounting principles and local/international practices (IFRS knowledge is a strong plus).
-   Hands-on experience with ERP systems (**Odoo ERP** experience is highly preferred).
-   Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (strong Excel skills).
-   Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid foundation for strategic thinking.
-   Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with local partners and international teams.
-   High ethical standards and a genuine commitment to sustainability and fair business practices.
-   Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both **English** and **French**.
