**Job Purpose:** As part of Global Finance Services and based in Athens, the Senior Tax & Statutory Accountant will act as the key finance contact for APIVITA in Greece, ensuring full compliance with local accounting, tax and statutory requirements. The role will be responsible for coordinating tax and statutory reporting activities, supporting internal and external audits, and safeguarding the accuracy and integrity of financial information in line with both local regulations and Group standards.

**Responsibilities/Results**

**The job holder:**

-   Ensures timely and accurate fulfilment of all tax compliance and reporting obligations.
-   Coordinates local statutory reporting requirements and maintain compliance with Greek accounting standards.
-   Leads and supports internal and external audit processes.
-   Monitors and reviews balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with Group and statutory requirements.
-   Supports the development and performance of accounting team member(s), ensuring the timely and accurate execution of assigned activities.
-   Acts as the key finance contact for local stakeholders, providing guidance on accounting and tax-related matters.
-   Collaborates with Global Finance Services and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with corporate policies and procedures.

## Requirements

-   BSc or MSc in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
-   ACCA certification or equivalent professional qualification will be considered an asset.
-   3-5 years of experience in tax accounting, statutory reporting and audit coordination, preferably within a multinational, FMCG or manufacturing environment.
-   Strong knowledge of Greek tax and statutory requirements.
-   Advanced SAP and Microsoft Office skills.
-   Fluency in Greek and English.
-   Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
-   Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, international environment.
