# Local Content Supervisor > Applus · Riyadh, Saudi Arabia · Full-time · Posted 2026-05-19 **Workplace:** on_site **Department:** Finance ## Description Work location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Department: Finance Reports to: Head of Finance Local Content Supervisor will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring strategies to enhance local content initiatives in line with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. The role involves managing partnerships with local suppliers with involvement of Procurement Team, monitoring the performance of local content contributions, and ensuring that the company's operations contribute effectively to the development of the local economy to achieve maximum score. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of local regulations, market trends, and the ability to work and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders within and outside the Company. Essential duties & responsibilities: • Prepare calculations for local content on the tenders submitted for new projects. • Monitor the local content performance of the ongoing projects. • Hold meetings with the local content authority and their representatives in the agencies the companies under scope are working for. • Update the files based on new regulations. • Support the finance department in the preparation of documents and information related to the local content certificates for the companies and projects under the scope. • Propose solutions related to HR and procurement that will improve the local content performance of the ongoing projects to ensure the compliance with the proposed percentage. • Review local content preparation pricing reporting to local content authorities. • Identify, assess, and onboard local suppliers that meet required standards. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, local suppliers, industry bodies, and government agencies to foster partnerships. • Lead initiatives to enhance the capabilities of local suppliers through training, capacity-building programs, and knowledge transfer. • Track and analyze key metrics related to local content performance, including cost savings, supplier quality, and overall contribution impacting local content score. • Prepare regular reports for senior management and regulatory bodies on local content progress and achievements. • Ensure compliance with local content laws, regulations, and company policies, keeping up-todate with the latest developments in the Saudi market. • Work with procurement, legal, and compliance teams to ensure all sourcing and contractual activities meet local content requirements. • Liaise with government agencies and regulatory bodies to stay informed of local content policies and ensure that the company is proactive in meeting or exceeding these expectations. • Drive internal awareness and education on the importance of local content, facilitating workshops and training sessions for relevant departments. ## Apply [Apply at Applus](https://apply.workable.com/applus/j/46BFD1C2E5/apply) --- Powered by [Workable](https://www.workable.com)
