## Description

We are seeking an experienced Intake Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for prospective patients. **This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, empathetic, and confident communicating with patients while guiding them through the consultation and treatment process.**

The ideal candidate is a people-person who can build trust quickly, communicate with a professional communication style, and help patients feel supported throughout their journey.

**Responsibilities**

-   Answer inbound calls, texts, and emails from prospective and existing patients
-   Conduct patient intake and collect necessary information
-   Verify insurance eligibility and explain next steps
-   Schedule consultations and follow-up appointments
-   Follow up with leads and patients to encourage appointment completion
-   Educate patients on available treatment options
-   Maintain accurate records within the CRM and tracking systems
-   Coordinate with clinical staff regarding patient needs and concerns
-   Conduct post-treatment follow-up and wellness check-in calls
-   Ensure every patient receives a compassionate and professional experience

## Requirements

-   Minimum of 4 years of experience in patient intake, patient coordination, healthcare customer service, admissions, or a similar role
-   Excellent spoken and written English with a neutral or minimal accent
-   Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
-   Experience handling phone-based patient or client interactions
-   Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
-   Comfortable discussing treatment options and guiding patients toward scheduling appointments
-   Self-starter who can think critically and adapt to different situations
-   Highly organized with strong follow-through and accountability
-   Experience using CRM systems and web-based applications like GoHighLevel, Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or similar systems.

_Preferred Qualifications_

-   Experience with patient intake and care coordination
-   Experience in healthcare, mental health, behavioral health, or wellness settings
-   Familiarity with treatment-based or consultative sales environments
-   Knowledge of ketamine therapy, Spravato, or other mental health treatment modalities is a plus
