**Your Role**

The Psychiatric Prescriber Supervisor provides leadership, operational oversight, coaching, and support to aptihealth’s Psychiatric Prescriber team. This position is responsible for supporting provider performance, workflow management, training, scheduling, utilization, and adherence to organizational policies and clinical-operational expectations.

The Supervisor serves as a key liaison between Psychiatric Prescribers and clinical leadership, helping ensure providers have the guidance, resources, and support necessary to deliver high-quality patient care. This role also supports new-hire onboarding, addresses day-to-day operational issues, monitors key performance expectations, and identifies opportunities to improve team and platform effectiveness.

**What You’ll Do**

-   Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and support to the Psychiatric Prescriber team.
-   Support providers with questions related to patient interactions, workflows, policies, procedures, and organizational expectations.
-   Coach and develop team members to support performance, accountability, and professional growth.
-   Support onboarding and training of newly hired Psychiatric Prescribers.
-   Monitor provider utilization, session targets, adherence, engagement, and no-show metrics.
-   Manage and coordinate provider schedules to support patient access, payer alignment, and appropriate distribution of appointments.
-   Review and approve time worked and support accurate timekeeping practices.
-   Partner with clinical leadership to identify and address performance, workflow, and operational concerns.
-   Coordinate aspects of patient care and provide support related to patients' medical and clinical needs.
-   Serve as a liaison between Psychiatric Prescribers and clinical leadership.
-   Provide training on aptihealth policies, procedures, workflows, and platform functionality.
-   Gather provider feedback and help identify opportunities for platform and operational improvements.
-   Prepare and communicate relevant team performance and operational information to leadership.
-   Promote adherence to applicable professional standards, organizational policies, confidentiality requirements, and clinical protocols.
-   Support additional clinical and operational initiatives as assigned.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field required.
-   Previous experience supporting, leading, mentoring, coaching, training, or onboarding healthcare professionals within a healthcare or behavioral health environment, including supporting provider performance and clinical workflows.
-   Knowledge of case management principles, healthcare operations, and reimbursement.
-   Direct clinical experience in behavioral or mental healthcare, with understanding of psychiatric care delivery, medication management, clinical workflows, provider performance, and behavioral health operations.
-   Demonstrated ability to coach employees, address performance concerns, and drive behavior change.
-   Experience working with EMR/EHR systems and medical records.
-   Strong proficiency with technology and virtual communication tools, including facilitating virtual training, meetings, and team communication.
-   Demonstrated ability to maintain patient and employee confidentiality.
-   Strong collaborative leadership skills and experience working closely with psychiatric prescribers, clinical leadership, and cross-functional operational partners to address scheduling, workflow, performance, and patient-care issues, including appropriate patient communication when escalation or clinical support is needed.
-   PMHNP-BC certification required.
-   Reliable high-speed internet and access to a private, professional workspace that supports confidential and HIPAA-compliant conversations and reliable participation in video meetings, virtual training, provider coaching, and other clinical and operational communications throughout the workday.
-   Experience leading psychiatric or behavioral health providers and managing complex provider scheduling, productivity, utilization, or other performance expectations preferred.
-   Formal supervisory experience preferred.
-   Experience working directly with psychiatric prescribers, behavioral health clinicians, or interdisciplinary behavioral health teams preferred.
-   Previous experience supervising psychiatric prescribers preferred.
