# Software Engineer Trainee (3-6 months)

## Description

**Scope of work**

The trainees will work with the development team under the guidance of senior engineers. Their responsibilities will include:

-   Supporting the team in developing and maintaining product features.
-   Investigating and fixing assigned bugs with guidance from senior team members.
-   Writing clean, readable code and participating in code reviews.
-   Testing their work, including expected behavior and affected areas.
-   Supporting API and database-related tasks as appropriate.
-   Documenting their work and communicating progress and any blockers.
-   Learning the team’s development processes, tools, and best practices.

**Requirements**

-   A recent graduate or final-year student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
-   Basic knowledge of at least one programming language.
-   Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
-   Basic awareness of common design patterns and when they can be useful.
-   Understanding of basic data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving concepts.
-   Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.
-   Familiarity with APIs and how applications communicate.
-   Basic familiarity with Git or other version control tools.
-   Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and take ownership of assigned tasks.
-   Good communication and teamwork skills.

Practical experience through university projects, personal projects, or previous training would be a plus. We are looking for candidates with a solid foundation and a willingness to learn; prior professional experience is not required.
