**SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER**

Premium Outdoor Lighting & Heating Brand  ·  Cape Town (Hybrid)  ·  Reports to CEO

**THE COMPANY**

A fast-growing, premium outdoor lighting and heating brand operating across South Africa and the United States, with active global expansion. This is a confidential search - the company name will be disclosed to suitable candidates at the appropriate stage.

**THE ROLE**

A high-ownership product leadership role. You will own the full Product Development Process from concept to mass production, translate founder vision into engineering briefs and sprint plans, manage prototyping and certification, and build relationships with Contract Manufacturers in Asia. There is a clear path to leading the entire product function as the business scales.

**NON-NEGOTIABLES**

•    Electrical knowledge — this is an electrical hardware brand; non-negotiable

•    Full PDP experience — must have taken a physical product from concept through to mass production

•    Design sensibility — premium decorative brand; you must care about beautiful, considered design

•    Founder-environment fit — systems are still being built; you must thrive with autonomy and build structure where none exists

**HIGHLY ADVANTAGEOUS**

•    Experience with Asian Contract Manufacturers — culture, communication norms, factory dynamics

•    Familiarity with CE, SANS, UL, or relevant certification standards

•    Remote cross-functional team management experience

•    Commercial awareness — balancing product ambition with margin realities
