## Description

This is an **18-month contract position** supporting the daily accounting operations of property portfolios, ensuring accurate financial reporting and providing reliable support to the accounting team.

As an **Accounting Clerk**, you’ll play a key role in supporting our financial operations. You will be responsible for assisting with accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, data entry, and administrative support for our property management accounting processes. You’ll be part of a fast-paced, high-performing team that supports the financial well-being of our clients and communities.

**RESPONSIBILITIES -**

-   Process and manage strata late fees accurately and on time
-   Prepare and send strata arrears letters to owners
-   Generate cheque disbursement reports
-   Perform bank reconciliations and ensuring accuracy
-   Compile financial statements
-   Distribute and email financial statements to clients in a timely manner
-   Complete monthly mini bank reconciliations
-   Enter and process accounts payable (AP) transactions.
-   Assist the Property Accountant with budget preparation
-   Coordinate and manage cheque processing and mailing

The above duties may change as the position evolves.
