**Ft. Harrison Veterinarians** is looking for a skilled **Registered Veterinary Technician** to join our single doctor, progressive practice. This role is a great opportunity for someone looking for a Lead Veterinary Technician position.**

### **Responsibilities**

As a **Registered** **Veterinary Technician**, your duties will include:

-   Assisting veterinarians during patient exams, treatments, and surgeries.
-   Training and educating Assistants in restraint, appointment flow, and client education.
-   Administering medications, vaccinations, and therapeutic treatments.
-   Performing diagnostic tests, including radiography, bloodwork, and urinalysis.
-   Monitoring anesthesia and providing post-operative care.
-   Conducting dental cleanings and using digital dental radiography.
-   Educating clients on preventive care, treatment plans, and post-care instructions.
-   Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring a clean, organized clinic environment.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications**

-   **Experience: Registered Veterinary Technician is required.**
-   Skills: Strong surgical, diagnostic, technical, and communication abilities.
-   Mindset: A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for patient care and education.
-   Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
-   Must be able to work Tuesdays (surgery day)
