### **We're Hiring | Consultant Family Medicine – Abu Dhabi, UAE**

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated **Consultant Family Medicine Physician** to join a leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care services, focusing on prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of acute and chronic medical conditions across all age groups.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Provide comprehensive family medicine and primary healthcare services for individuals and families.
-   Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions using evidence-based clinical practices.
-   Conduct preventive health assessments, wellness screenings, and routine medical examinations.
-   Manage chronic diseases including:

-   Diabetes Mellitus
-   Hypertension
-   Cardiovascular diseases
-   Asthma and respiratory conditions
-   Thyroid disorders
-   Metabolic and lifestyle-related conditions

-   Provide health education, preventive counseling, vaccinations, and lifestyle modification guidance.
-   Deliver holistic care including women’s health, men’s health, adolescent care, and geriatric care.
-   Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate referrals to specialists when required.
-   Maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with DOH standards and healthcare regulations.
-   Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of patient care.
-   Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, CME activities, and departmental meetings.
-   Support teaching, mentoring, and development of junior medical staff where applicable.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications & Requirements**

-   MBBS/MD or equivalent medical qualification.
-   Board Certification / Fellowship / recognized postgraduate qualification in **Family Medicine**.
-   Minimum **5–10 years of post-specialization experience** at Consultant level.
-   Eligibility for or possession of a **Department of Health (DOH) – Abu Dhabi** Consultant license.
-   Strong clinical expertise in primary care, preventive medicine, and chronic disease management.
-   Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
-   Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based, patient-focused healthcare.

### **Preferred Candidate Profile**

-   Western-trained or internationally recognized Family Medicine qualification preferred.
-   Experience working in internationally accredited hospitals, clinics, or primary healthcare centers.
-   UAE or GCC experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
-   Strong focus on preventive care, patient experience, and continuity of care.
