### **We're Hiring | Consultant Cardiac Surgeon – Dubai, UAE**

📍 **Location:** Dubai

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced **Consultant Cardiac Surgeon** to join a leading healthcare provider in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will provide expert surgical management of complex cardiovascular conditions, delivering outstanding patient care while working within a multidisciplinary team in a state-of-the-art cardiac center.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Evaluate, diagnose, and surgically manage patients with congenital and acquired cardiovascular diseases.
-   Perform a comprehensive range of adult cardiac surgical procedures, including:

-   Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
-   Heart valve repair and replacement
-   Aortic aneurysm and aortic dissection surgery
-   Minimally invasive cardiac surgery
-   Redo cardiac surgery
-   Emergency cardiac surgical procedures

-   Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and provide post-operative management in collaboration with the cardiac intensive care team.
-   Work closely with interventional cardiologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, perfusionists, cardiac imaging specialists, and rehabilitation teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
-   Participate in Heart Team meetings and multidisciplinary case discussions.
-   Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with DHA regulations and hospital policies.
-   Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection prevention, and clinical governance standards.
-   Participate in clinical audits, research, quality improvement initiatives, and Continuing Medical Education (CME).
-   Mentor junior surgeons, residents, and fellows while contributing to departmental education and clinical service development.

### **Qualifications & Requirements**

-   MBBS/MD or equivalent medical qualification.
-   Board Certification, Fellowship, CCT, or equivalent recognized **Consultant qualification in Cardiac Surgery**.
-   Minimum **5–10 years of post-specialization experience** at the Consultant level.
-   Eligibility for or possession of a **Dubai Health Authority (DHA)** Consultant license.
-   Extensive experience in adult cardiac surgery with excellent surgical outcomes.
-   Experience in minimally invasive and complex cardiac surgical procedures is highly desirable.
-   Excellent leadership, communication, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
-   Commitment to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered cardiovascular care.

### **Preferred Candidate Profile**

-   Experience working in internationally accredited tertiary cardiac centers.
-   Fellowship training in minimally invasive cardiac surgery, aortic surgery, heart failure surgery, or structural heart procedures is an added advantage.
-   UAE or GCC experience is preferred but not mandatory.
