📍 Location: Abu Dhabi

We are looking for an experienced **Consultant Urologist** to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the diagnosis and surgical management of adult urological conditions, with experience in advanced and minimally invasive urological procedures.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Provide comprehensive consultation, diagnosis, and treatment of urological conditions.
-   Manage conditions affecting the **kidneys, ureters, bladder, prostate, and male reproductive system**.
-   Perform elective and emergency urological procedures within the scope of clinical expertise.
-   Diagnose and manage urinary tract infections, urinary obstruction, hematuria, urinary incontinence, and other urological disorders.
-   Manage **urolithiasis and urinary stones**, including endoscopic and minimally invasive stone procedures.
-   Perform procedures such as **ureteroscopy, cystoscopy, TURP, and other endourological interventions** where appropriately trained.
-   Evaluate and manage benign and malignant urological conditions, including prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular cancers.
-   Provide comprehensive management of benign prostatic hyperplasia and other prostate disorders.
-   Perform or coordinate appropriate urological oncology procedures within the physician’s scope of practice.
-   Provide pre-operative assessment, surgical planning, and post-operative follow-up.
-   Participate in multidisciplinary oncology and complex case meetings.
-   Collaborate with nephrologists, oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, anesthesiologists, and other specialists.
-   Counsel patients regarding treatment options, surgical risks, expected outcomes, and follow-up care.
-   Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with clinical governance and patient-safety standards.
-   Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, teaching, research, and CME activities.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications**

-   MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Urology**.
-   Fellowship or advanced training in a urological subspecialty is an advantage.
-   Board certification or equivalent recognized specialist/consultant qualification.
-   Minimum **5–10 years of post-specialization experience** in Urology.
-   Strong experience in general urology, endourology, stone management, and urological surgery.
-   Experience with minimally invasive and endoscopic urological procedures is highly desirable.
-   Eligible for **DOH Consultant classification/license** in Abu Dhabi.
-   Excellent clinical, surgical, communication, and patient-management skills.
