A leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi is seeking a **Consultant Family Medicine** with a recognized **Western Board certification** to join its multidisciplinary medical team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive primary and continuing care to patients across different age groups, with a strong focus on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and evidence-based family healthcare.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Provide comprehensive family medicine consultations and ongoing patient care.
-   Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
-   Provide preventive healthcare, health screening, and lifestyle counselling.
-   Manage patients with common chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, and respiratory disorders.
-   Coordinate referrals to specialists and ensure continuity of care.
-   Perform appropriate clinical procedures within the scope of training and privileges.
-   Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
-   Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and care planning.
-   Support clinical quality, patient safety, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
-   Provide health education and counselling to patients and families.
-   Participate in continuing medical education and professional development activities.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications**

-   Medical degree from an accredited institution.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Family Medicine**.
-   **Western Board certification** in Family Medicine or an equivalent recognized qualification.
-   Eligibility for or a valid **DOH Abu Dhabi Consultant licence**.
-   Relevant clinical experience appropriate for Consultant-level practice.
-   Current Good Standing Certificate and verifiable professional credentials.
-   Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-   Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
