A leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced **Consultant / Specialist Anesthesiologist** to join its anesthesia and perioperative care team. The successful candidate will provide safe, high-quality anesthesia services across a range of surgical and procedural specialties and contribute to comprehensive perioperative patient care.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
-   Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care according to clinical expertise and patient requirements.
-   Monitor patients throughout surgical and procedural interventions and manage intraoperative complications.
-   Provide post-anesthesia care and ensure appropriate pain management and patient recovery.
-   Manage airway emergencies and participate in resuscitation and critical care support when required.
-   Assess and optimize patients with complex medical conditions prior to surgery.
-   Collaborate closely with surgeons, intensivists, nurses, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
-   Perform anesthesia-related procedures within the scope of clinical privileges.
-   Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with hospital policies and patient-safety standards.
-   Participate in emergency and on-call duties as required.
-   Contribute to quality improvement, clinical governance, and patient-safety initiatives.
-   Support teaching, supervision, and professional development of junior medical staff.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications**

-   Medical degree from an accredited institution.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Anesthesiology / Anaesthesia**.
-   Eligibility for or a valid **DOH Abu Dhabi Consultant or Specialist licence**, as applicable.
-   Relevant post-specialization clinical experience appropriate to the applied position.
-   Strong experience in perioperative and anesthesia management.
-   Current Good Standing Certificate and verifiable professional credentials.
-   Excellent communication, clinical decision-making, and teamwork skills.
