We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced **Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon** to join a leading healthcare facility in **Abu Dhabi, UAE**.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in **musculoskeletal disorders, fracture management, orthopedic trauma, and surgical treatment of bone and joint conditions**. The role requires excellent surgical skills, clinical judgment, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Diagnose and manage **musculoskeletal disorders, fractures, joint diseases, and orthopedic injuries**.
-   Perform **elective and emergency orthopedic surgical procedures** within authorized clinical privileges.
-   Manage **orthopedic trauma, fractures, dislocations, and sports-related injuries**.
-   Perform **arthroscopic and minimally invasive orthopedic procedures**, as clinically indicated.
-   Diagnose and treat **osteoarthritis, ligament injuries, tendon disorders, and musculoskeletal deformities**.
-   Assist with or perform **joint replacement procedures**, according to qualifications and approved clinical privileges.
-   Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments and develop individualized surgical treatment plans.
-   Provide postoperative care, monitor recovery, and manage surgical complications.
-   Interpret **X-rays, CT scans, MRI findings, and other orthopedic diagnostic investigations**.
-   Collaborate with **anesthesiologists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, and multidisciplinary surgical teams**.
-   Ensure compliance with **DOH regulations, surgical safety protocols, infection control, and patient care standards**.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications**

-   MBBS/MD or equivalent recognized medical degree.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification or residency training in **Orthopedic Surgery**.
-   Board certification or equivalent recognized specialist-level qualification in Orthopedic Surgery.
-   Relevant post-specialization clinical experience in Orthopedic Surgery, as required by the applicable UAE PQR.
-   Strong expertise in **orthopedic trauma, fracture management, arthroscopy, and musculoskeletal surgery**.
-   Excellent surgical skills, clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork abilities.
-   Experience in **joint replacement or minimally invasive orthopedic procedures** is preferred.
-   Eligible for **DOH Specialist Orthopedic Surgery classification/license** in Abu Dhabi, subject to applicable UAE PQR requirements.
