We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced **Specialist / Consultant Anesthesiologist** to join a leading healthcare facility in **Dubai, UAE**.

The ideal candidate should possess extensive expertise in **general and regional anesthesia, perioperative patient management, advanced airway management, and critical care support**. The role requires excellent clinical judgment, strong patient safety awareness, and a commitment to delivering high-quality anesthesia services.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Administer **general, regional, and local anesthesia** for a wide range of surgical procedures.
-   Conduct comprehensive **pre-anesthetic assessments** and evaluate patients' medical histories and surgical risks.
-   Develop individualized anesthesia plans based on patient conditions and surgical requirements.
-   Perform **advanced airway management**, including endotracheal intubation and difficult airway procedures.
-   Monitor and manage **vital signs, hemodynamic stability, and patient safety** throughout surgical procedures.
-   Perform **spinal, epidural, and peripheral nerve blocks** within authorized clinical privileges.
-   Manage **anesthesia-related emergencies, complications, and perioperative critical events**.
-   Provide **post-anesthesia recovery care and postoperative pain management**.
-   Support **emergency resuscitation, advanced life support, and critical patient stabilization**.
-   Collaborate with **surgeons, intensivists, nurses, and multidisciplinary operating theatre teams**.
-   Ensure compliance with **DHA regulations, anesthesia protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards**.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications**

-   MBBS/MD or equivalent recognized medical degree.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification or residency training in **Anesthesiology**.
-   Board certification or equivalent recognized specialist/consultant-level qualification.
-   **American Board, UK CCT, Canadian, Australian, European, or other internationally recognized qualifications** are highly desirable.
-   Relevant post-specialization clinical experience in Anesthesiology, as required for the applicable professional title under the UAE PQR.
-   Strong expertise in **general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, airway management, and perioperative care**.
-   Valid **BLS and ACLS certifications** or equivalent are preferred.
-   Eligible for **DHA Specialist / Consultant Anesthesiology classification/license** in Dubai, subject to applicable UAE PQR requirements.
