**We're Hiring |**Consultant Pediatric Surgeon

📍 Location: DUBAI

We are looking for an experienced **Consultant Pediatric Surgeon** to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have specialized expertise in the surgical management of congenital, developmental, traumatic, and acquired conditions in newborns, infants, children, and adolescents.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Provide comprehensive surgical assessment, diagnosis, and management of pediatric patients.
-   Perform elective and emergency pediatric surgical procedures within the scope of clinical expertise.
-   Manage congenital and developmental surgical conditions in neonates, infants, children, and adolescents.
-   Perform pediatric abdominal, gastrointestinal, and urological surgical procedures as appropriate.
-   Manage pediatric surgical emergencies, including acute abdominal conditions, trauma, and intestinal obstruction.
-   Provide surgical management of congenital anomalies and developmental disorders.
-   Perform minimally invasive and laparoscopic pediatric procedures where appropriately trained.
-   Participate in neonatal and pediatric surgical care, including pre-operative and post-operative management.
-   Provide appropriate pre-operative counselling and post-operative follow-up to patients and their families.
-   Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatricians, pediatric intensivists, anesthesiologists, radiologists, and other multidisciplinary specialists.
-   Ensure safe surgical practices and adherence to evidence-based clinical protocols.
-   Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with patient-safety and clinical governance standards.
-   Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, teaching, research, and CME activities.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications**

-   MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **General Surgery**.
-   Fellowship or advanced training in **Pediatric Surgery**.
-   Board certification or equivalent recognized specialist/consultant qualification.
-   Minimum **5–10 years of post-specialization experience**, with significant pediatric surgical experience.
-   Strong experience in pediatric and neonatal surgical procedures.
-   Experience in pediatric surgical emergencies and minimally invasive surgery is highly desirable.
-   Eligible for **DHA Consultant classification/license** in Dubai.
-   Excellent clinical, communication, leadership, and patient-management skills.
